This week’s ice cream recipe is not a soft serve, meaning you can store it in the freezer until the mood yodels.
Another bonus is that the recipe caters for 2-3. Simply double or triple the recipe for a big batch. But most of us don’t want large batches. Fist. Bump.
My freezer is the love of my life, much to my husband’s amusement. Without it, my personality would have all the charisma of a nail clippers.
Freezers are basically a second adrenal gland, working full-time to buffer my stress levels. There’s always a nourishing ragu tucked away in my freezer, or healthyassed curry ready to salve the midweek madness. Freezer treats are especially brilliant, loyally attentive, and ready for service no matter the calling. They are gifts to your future self.
Why oh why avocado?
For me, making the switch from highly-processed conveyor-belt food, to home-prepped vibrant wholefood dishes, was as revelatory as the transition from horse n’carriage to airplane. It is beyond mind blowing. It is life-changing.
